Everyone has different nutritional requirements. Krystie from Results Personal Training shares with you this questionnaire to help you determine which type you are. Should you be predominately eating fats and protein or would you do better on a higher carbohydrate diet? Find out below.

Eat for your Type Questionnaire

When answering the questions, please circle the answer that best describes the way you feel, not the way you think you should eat! If none of the answers suit a particular question, then don’t answer it. If answer A and B both suit you, ie. A suits you in the morning however not in the evening and B suits you other times, then circle both.

Protein and fat is anything with eyes eg. cows, sheep, birds and fish, however nuts, seeds and avocados are also fats.

Carbohydrates are vegetables, fruits and cereals

I sleep best:

  1. when I eat a snack high in protein and fat 1-2 hours before going to sleep
  2. when I eat a snack higher in carbohydrates 3-4 hours before going to sleep

  1. my dinner is composed of mainly meat with some vegetables or other carbohydrates
  2. my dinner is composed mainly of vegetables or other carbohydrates and a comparatively small serving of meat
