1 – Take time out to look after yourself.

In order to help others you have to help yourself first. By looking after yourself you will inspire others to look after themselves. Change for the better starts with you.

Here are two things you can start doing right away

– Start a regular exercise program to make a stronger and fitter you
– Start eating well and nourishing your body

2 – Do something fun everyday.

It is too easy to get caught up in doing ”stuff.” There was a time when I lost sight – I spent my days training as many clients as I could and filled my evenings with study. I forgot to have fun, and it took its toll on me. I was so focused on my business that I completely disconnected myself from my friends, family and partner.

Now days I go as far as scheduling in fun to my diary. It might be a visit to the beach, a movie or catching up with friends over lunch, it doesn’t matter, just make sure you’re laughing and having a good time.

3 – Make time for personal growth.

This could be done through reading, meditating, training or learning something new. By spending time on your growth you will become a ”better version of yourself”

4 – Get out of your comfort zone.

Everyday make sure you find a challenge that will give you an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone. For most of us, we either put these things off or just ignore them all together. The reason being we are afraid. It’s not easy getting out of your comfort zone but when you do – amazing things happen. You get results.

5 – Give more.

Everyday do something for someone else. It might be something as simple as smiling to a stranger or going out of your way to compliment the service. These small ripples of kindness can make giant waves of happiness.
