Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a great weekend. We met with good friends who flew in from Australia which was great on Saturday morning for a coffee at ours, then headed for a curry for lunch (quite a wintery day so thought a curry would be perfect for a day like this), then off to buy dog food for Oakey.
As we pulled up at the Pet Store, we (the family) all decided to head into the shop and check whether they had any kittens for sale. Paul has mentioned to the kids a while back that we could get a kitten, but the timing just wasn’t right… until now!
There was a little kitten sound asleep and we made the decision to get him. He was named on the way home by Milly and agreed by Bear – Leafy (because he has shapes like leaves on his side). Paul did try to convince them of different names – if I recall “Lino” from the Thundercats. Leafy won!
Oakey is still getting used to him, barking and trying to chase him being his main reaction, but he is well loved and fitting in.
Now as most of you are aware, Emilie, one of our awesome trainers, finished on Thursday as she is getting ready to have her baby. We are looking for someone to take her place. If you know of someone or interested yourself, please could you get in touch with us through either email or give us a call, to discuss more of the details.
