I love a glass of beer or a wine with lunch, and sometimes you can find me hanging out with close friends enjoying a cigar and a glass of way-too-expensive whiskey. 

Tobacco and alcohol I know crazy right? Next it will be hard drugs and hookers 🙂 

I don’t view these things as ‘’bad’’ (except maybe the hard drugs and hookers :)) and I don’t judge, if that’s your jam then fair enough 

I generally don’t advocate that people put toxic things into their bodies, but as long as it’s relatively infrequent or just a now and then, then fine. 

‘’Every now and then’’

So a chain smoker gets a look of distaste while the twice a year cigar smoker gets a nod of approval 

Is that fair? 

Probably not, but these are my rules and I am sure you have your rules 

Fitness professionals aren’t faultless when it comes to their health but most will never show you that on their instagram channel

Life isn’t black and white, do this, but don’t do that. There is always a ‘it depends’ and grey areas 

Is it better to never drink a drop or smoke a cigar? 

Maybe… 

But I do enjoy it, so it is what it is 

Fitness and health isn’t about abstaining from certain things in life. It’s about living the life you want and taking responsibility for your actions. 

If I can no longer fit into my pants then that’s on me and no one else 

Have fun and seek out new experiences 

Ps – if you see me in New World with a bag of ‘Proper Crisps’ and a giant bar of Lindt chocolate then it’s not for me, I’m getting it for a friend …
