Yes it is Christmas in just 25 days, and you may be asking yourself what on earth should I buy for my wife/girlfriend/friend/mum…? I think giving the gift of health is one of the most important things you can do. Without good health, you don’t have a lot. Or put another way- if you have bad health, you surely know about it.

Here are my top five gift ideas, in no particular order:

Number 1:

It would be rude not to start with this one. A gift voucher for either a four week bootcamp, personal training or nutrition consultation here at Results. We really pride ourselves on getting you the results you deserve. Our passion towards health and fitness along with many years of experience in the industry leave us confident we can help your loved one on their health journey.

An Organic Facial/massage from Qi Lounge. I (Krystie) was fortunate enough to have a facial on the weekend and pure bliss is all I can say. Who doesn’t like to be pampered, and an hour lying down, cares of the world nowhere to be seen while beautiful natural products are doing their magic on your face/body, sounds like the ideal experience.

Check out the website here

I also want to mention here about Annie’s (one of our clients) boutique spa, White Space. If you are looking for the ultimate pampering package – this is it. Check out the link for more information. But having been there myself, it really is one of those places you feel like you are in a world of your own!

A suspension trainer. So you ask why this would be a great gift? Well I think it’s awesome for home workouts and it’s small enough to put in your bag when you travel. There are many exercises you can do with the suspension trainer starting from sculpting your back (rows), toning the legs (single leg movements), and working on the six pack (pikes), only to name a few. All you need for this is a tree or a door!

Number 4:

Spiraliser. Hmm another why would I give this? Well, maybe your loved one is addicted to pasta, feels the need to eat carbs with every meal just because they are used to it, or need more inspiration with meal ideas. If you are looking to increase your vege intake then a spiraliser is just the gift.  Zucchini noodles anyone?

Number 5:

A Heart Rate Monitor. This is especially awesome for someone who has been training for a while now and may have plateaued, or needs an extra push. Nothing gives you more motivation than a watch telling you how hard you are working. Work out your maximum heart rate, aim to sit around the 80% plus mark throughout your training and watch how your results dramatically increase.

In regards to brands, there are many out there but my favourites are still Polar and Garmin.

A way to a women’s heart is through food! Head to your local health food store and pick up a selection of delicious items… or even better, you could sign them up for an organic vegetable box delivery   or a meat box delivery. Take the worry out of shopping and receive awesome quality produce delivered straight to your door.

So there you have it, six of my top picks for her!
