Happy Monday Everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We headed away to Kairakau Beach for the night on Saturday which was lovely to get away. Fresh sea walks, good food and plenty of down time… good for the soul.

We received an email last week from one of our awesome Fitcampers, Steph, who has been travelling overseas for a little while now. We found her email very touching and inspiring so asked if we could share it with you all in today’s newsletter, in which she replied ‘yes’. We asked her to write a little intro into the email, so without further ado…

I had been coming to Results Fitness Camps for over two years. For me, I realised that coming to training and learning about healthier food choices became more about a positive influence for my mental health and less about my physical fitness.

I learnt that as long as you show up to Fitness Camp, whether you’re feeling super motivated or like you have nothing left to give, whether you have the biggest smile on your face or fighting back tears, you are always welcome.   As long as you put in your best you can, you will leave feeling so much better.

Krystie and Paul are such genuine, kind and positive people, and I knew that if I could get through the day and make it to Fitness Camp it would always improve how I felt mentally.

Results gave me a safe and positive outlet when I needed it most, and now I am achieving one of my dreams teaching in a school and volunteering in an Orphanage in Tanzania. I truly don’t think I would have had the strength to get here without the support and motivation. Thank you

and here was the email…

 Hi Krystie and Paul,

I’ve had lots of time to think lately and I just wanted to quickly send you an appreciation email. Thank you for being a part of my journey that I never realised helped me so much. Thank you for giving me a healthy outlet over a few years that I really enjoyed and kept me going. Thank you for always reminding me in your posts and emails that health is about everything in life, about pushing ourselves to be the best we can be and making the most of each day.

I’m now achieving one of my dreams in life, volunteering in an Orphanage and teaching at a school in Tanzania.  I’ve thrown in a few photos if you wanted to see ????

Thinking of you guys at times and still missing fitness camp! Definitely needing it after eating more beans and rice than I have in a lifetime! I hope you are both well and all the best with your new little bundle of joy!  Hope to one day come back to fitness camp. From Steph x

Thanks so much Steph for sharing your incredible story. This shows that if we put our minds to it, we can achieve whatever we want in this world. Follow your heart, make your dreams happen as life is far too short not to!

We just want to take a second and acknowledge you Steph, for the work you are doing in Tanzania. Teaching, contributing and giving back to those young children. You are an inspiration…Thank you!

Paul “truly inspired” and Krystie “living your dreams” Miller
